The company Pfanzelt Maschinenbau was founded in 1991 by the proprietor Paul Pfanzelt and initially focused on the production and installation of geared cable winches for 3-point, quick-fit and fixed attachment to tractors as well as of chain winches. Right from the start, the company has stood for innovation, cost efficiency and safety in the forestry industry.
The company is located in the thickly wooded foothills of the Alps, giving a perfect product proving ground directly outside the front door.
Products only make it to serial production once tried and tested under real conditions in difficult terrain.

PM Trac
The Pm Trac multipurpose tractor of the new Generation 38 is optimised for combined use in agriculture, forestry, and landscaping thanks to its unique vehicle concept.
The core of the Pm Trac machine concept includes the centrally located large tractor cab and the central superstructure space above the rear axle. Fast and flexible adaptation to different working conditions is based on the Pfanzelt System Attachment (PSA).
The development trend - from using a tractor chassis from the large-scale production to a completely purpose designed and built in-house tractor chassis - makes the Pm Trac unique. Among other things, the new, continuously variable and power-split CVT transmission "variaDRIVE" - a proprietary development for Pfanzelt forestry machines - offers new possibilities and contributes its share to the motto of the new Pm Trac generation: Versatility is its strength - working and operating comfort its virtue.

K Trac
The Pfanzelt K Trac high-speed systems tractor with its 4 implement attachment points is a genuine year-round vehicle for highway and municipal maintenance, utility forestry and arboriculture and for use in landscape and environmental care. The arrangement of the individual attachment points and the drive system means that the vehicle cab can be located in the middle of the vehicle.
The Pfanzelt XXL cab creates an operator position with an optimum view of the vehicle and attached equipment.
Behind the cab, the K Trac concept offers plenty of space, which can be used for mowing booms, loading cranes or a flat bed. A large gritter can also be installed here or a hopper/sprayer for fertiliser and lime application or top-dressing.
As different as the seasons, so are the uses in these periods. With its 4 attachment and mounting bays, the K Trac masters everything from winter service, tree maintenance, pruning to mowing work.
Thanks to its all-wheel steering, the new K Trac is a manoeuvrable implement carrier that doesn't shy away from narrow alleys and small-structured inner cities. With its 80 km/h transmission on the other hand, motorway journeys are also possible at high speed and in comfort.

Forwarding trailers
The Pfanzelt forwarding trailers, depending on which tractor system is used, what is to be loaded and what conditions apply, are available in three product groups covering a range of 9 fully customisable models, adaptable to the differing requirements of each individual end user.
Forwarding in standing timber and transport to the forest road places high demands on the engineering of the forwarding trailer. Ergonomical and safe working is guaranteed by the pivoting draw bar with large steering angle, the two powerful pivoting cylinders as well as the bogie axle with large overclimb capacity. For use in demanding terrain Pfanzelt offers diffrent drive systems.
Various floor pan systems enable the flexible use of ergonomically optimised forwarding trailers. The Pfanzelt transport systems thus enable easy transport of branches and brush material in forests and on the road. Especially for road transport, numerous safety measures can be owithted. The high-sided floor pan for cut material is suitable for the transport of light brush and treetop material, while the standard floor pan is ideal for the combined transport of branches and trunks.

Winches - 3-point, quick-fit & fix-mounted Geared Cable Winches
The Pfanzelt product range includes a very wide selection of cable winches. The product range extends from standard cable winches to custom-made system solutions. With over 20 different models and hundreds of configuration possibilities, Pfanzelt offer a winch for everyone.
S-Line: With the S-line cable winch, Pfanzelt now offers geared cable winches especially designed for semi-professional or small scale contractors and agricultural operations with an attractive price/performance ratio. The design is the same as with the larger models, only the dimensions have been rescaled to match the size of the usually smaller tractors.
Professional: Heavy timber recovery in flat terrain or thinning in steep mountainous areas - the requirements for a professional geared cable winch differ depending on the area of application and the available technology. Pfanzelt Profi geared cable winches consist of a variable modular system and can thus be optimally adapted to various operating conditions. The technology is the same for all Pfanzelt cable winches. The precision worm gear used in the winch unit and the multi-disc sinter plate packs guarantee maximum reliability and durability of the winch.
Quick-fit & Fixed: Pfanzelt quick-fit and fixed cable winches are the perfect implements for commercial timber forwarding. One reason is that the cable winch and the sprag bearing are mounted on a single frame, meaning that the tractor remains largely free of mechanical strain during winching.
MySelf front mounted recovery winch: Both in agriculture/forestry and in environmental management, a cable winch is often required to recover vehicles or other items of equipment. The MySelf front-mounted recovery winch has been especially designed for this application. The simply mounted, hydraulically actuated cable winch for the quick-coupling 3-point link. This means the attachment can be mounted and removed in a matter of minutes for recovery jobs.
Winch-head units & Vehicle-mounted cable winches: The Pfanzelt modular series for vehicle winch systems offer cable winches with lifting and tractive forces of between 30 and 160 kN. Various winch drives, which are all largely maintenance- and wear-free, are available for different applications.
