Menzi Muck was founded by Ernst Menzi - an entrepreneur and inventor whose company 'Ernst Menzi AG' manufactured transaxles and agricultural machinery.
In 1965 however, Ernst Menzi turned his attention to the manufacture of an excavator that could operate safely on the mountainous terrain of Switzerland - his home country - and in 1966 the worlds first all-terrain mobile excavator was born.
Ernst named his new machine after a Swiss fictional character 'Muck - the little man who could do it all' and so the Menzi MUK came to be.
Fifty years later and the Menzi Muck company have produced thousands of mobile excavators and have become renowned as a technology leader, manufacturing the most advanced and powerful machines in their class.
From mountain tops to the sea bed and from the desert to the Antarctic, Menzi Muck machines have not only conquered the most demanding and extreme terrain on the planet, but continue to push the boundaries of productivity and innovation the world over.

With their unrivalled mobility, Menzi Muck machines are able to access areas not before possible with conventional excavators and harvesters.
Unmatched lifting and carrying capacity coupled with high oil flows and pressures and a working envelope far beyond that of conventional machines in the same weight class make the Menzi Muck first choice for all applications - from drilling and stabilisation work to steep forestry harvesting, hydro pipeline installation, river and watercourse maintenance and access to remote and difficult areas.
Whether you are looking for a crawler excavator, wheeled excavator or harvester, Menzi Muck's mobile spider excavator is one machine that is ideal for all applications.
In everyday applications, on gradients of up to 100%, in water up to 2.2m deep or in deep mud, on mountains or on the ocean bed: the Menzi Muck knows no limits. The flexible chassis can adapt to any type of ground. It is difficult to imagine a field where anything other than a Menzi Muck could be a more efficient or more cost-effective partner.
One of our strengths is our ability to turn customers' ideas into reality. This gives rise to individual and tailor-made solutions which can be put to profitable use in niche markets.

Huge engine and hydraulic outputs coupled with unique stability result in performance rates up to 70% higher than those of conventional machines in the same weight class.
A Menzi Muck is the ideal carrier for a variety of drilling systems and other heavy work tools. Its high output at low tare weight, high stability and the ability to move effortlessly even on uneven terrain set it apart.
Outstanding lifting forces support the attachment of even the heaviest of drill mounts.
We are happy to be able to offer the full Menzi Muck product range here in the UK, from buckets, grapples, winches and harvester heads to piling rigs and tunnelling excavators to the unique '45RD & 65RD' site dumper - the only one in the world to feature a factory fitted diesel particulate filter - and the 'Kings Class of Mobile Excavators'.
Menzi Muck. Go where others only dream.
